David Duchovny Sues Daily Mail Over Affair Allegations

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- David Duchovny is suing U.K. newspaper the Daily Mail over reports of an alleged affair between the actor and a tennis instructor, Access Hollywood has learned.

In a story published Oct. 18, the paper alleged that instructor Edit Pakay had a "full-blown sexual affair" with the "Californication" star, who recently announced his separation from wife Tea Leoni.

In documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by Access, Duchovny has sued the Daily Mail for defamation and false light invasion of privacy, and calls for a jury trial.
